8:30- Doughnuts and Kolaches with Dad

10:00-11:30 Football practice

& CUPCAKES!

1pm- 4:30- Pizza & Pool Party with friends and the fam! Thanks to everyone who came out! We let D invite who he wanted and had a fun mix of friends!

6pm- Dinner with the fam...sushi buffet (Bubbs pick...food blah..but company was great!:)

7:45- Off with Dad and Uncle M to Fantasy football draft like a big boy!

...7 yrs ago ...we just closed on our first house and I was 2 wks over due! I finally gave up and spent the night before painting like a mad woman and decided this boy would never come!

The next morning I went in for the 2nd time that week (I was going in every other day at that point!) to my usual appt. dressed in painting clothes because we we're heading straight back to the house to finish painting. There I was covered in paint and looking sooooo not cute and Dr. McD says he's sending me over to Labor and Delivery because he wanted to induce me. On my way there I went into full labor and my beautiful boy blew into this world with so much force I never even had to push! (Still very much the same today) The nurses knew exactly who he belonged to because he had paint chips all over him!

Here we are 7 years later and he is growing into such the little man. He is still so sweet and kind. He is definitely his father's son and loves sports and anything boy. He is full of life and is such a great example to those around him. I asked him what his favorite part about today was and he said getting his guitar from Papa and Uncle M and his first lesson!

We love you Bubbs! Hope you had an awesome day!

MY BIRTHDAY BOY!!
{that's a pic of both my birthday boys but we'LL talk about the older one for today!}

Happy Birthday to the best man I know! Yes, D is turning the big 35! I have to say...He gets HOTTER every year! He's getting bits of gray and eeeewwwweeeee! SEXY! OK this is a G rated show folks!

Seriously...I just want to say how much I love and appreciate him. He is such an amazing man. Thank you sweetie for all you do for us!!! Hope you are having a terrific day (working..of course! You'd think being the boss he'd take a break! Hmmm...I wonder where he got that from!=)

D has found his niche here in Dallas I think. He is doing all the things he loves. He's worked hard to build a good company. He works so hard and I am so proud of him! Anyone who knows him knows that he loves to work hard and even more than that loves to play hard! When he's not busy with Scouting or helping out with the boys wrestling and football, he squeezes in time for plenty of basketball, raquetball, softball and hunting. Seriously..it makes me tired just thinking about it all!

Happy Big Day Babe! I love you so much and am so blessed to have you in my life. You make my life so much more fun! 13 yrs and 5 babies later...that's pretty fantastic!

Here's to you! I love you!

B's here!!! Ok, so it's almost 3 months later...whatever..I'm sleep deprived! Anywho...B finally joined the mix and we couldn't be more thrilled! (More about the exciting birth later!) He is growing so fast...too fast! He's already TEETHING!!! My babies do get teeth in rather early but hey...at least they're not born with them!

I'll post pics soon...I've wanted to post about him but seriously...I couldn't remember my password...no really...I was locked out of my own blog!! I told you...sleep deprived!

He'll be up soon for his next feeding but I just have to say, I was very worried about how #5 would fit into our already chaotic brood and actually...he just makes it even better! In a funny way he has brought so much peace to our very busy home. I think babies have a way of forcing us to slow down and reminding us of the big picture. I am loving every minute I have with him and feel so grateful to have been blessed with my babies!!! Suddenly the towels being folded a certain way or repainting almost every room in the house doesn't seem so relevant to my everyday happiness...funny:) [David probably wouldn't think so...seriously..worst nesting phase...EVER!!]

B's doing great, he's getting fatter by the hour (love chubby babies!!) and I am doing great. I must be because I am blogging at 2:30 in the AM. My monkeys are growing up too fast and are so busy with school, soccer, music, etc. M is adjusting to B very well and they are becoming fast friends.

Ohhhhh and another thing B's added to my life: Domestic bliss! I have officially crossed the threshold and joined the ranks...yes...I am now...dun dah dah dah....A CRAFTING MACHINE!! I made B the cutest quilt with the help of my girlfriend and now have my very own sewing machine!! I'll post pics soon...

I have an alligator in my belly!

So, I have something like 12 weeks left and apparently I am carrying an alligator in my belly! For the past week I have not slept much because the baby likes to roll around which was so fun when he started doing it but now after too many sleep deprived nights.....not so much. It seriously feels like he's going to roll himself out at any moment.

I wish I could get him on my schedule so we'd both get some sleep! I know my body movement during the day lulls him to sleep and I'm trying to think of a way I can keep rockin at night so maybe he'll calm down enough for me to catch some zz's. Any suggestions?

Sincerely exhausted,

Goodbye....not so good.

So our family is a bit notorious for long, drawn out, heart wrenchingly sad, tearful farewells. I remember many times as a girl watching my mom say bye to her family and how sad it was not to mention how long it took. It wasn't uncommon to begin the goodbye session and not actually drive away till a few HOURS later. The legacy lives on!

We were so lucky to have Aggie and Bryce visit us for several weeks (I lost track how long exactly because we had so much fun!). Today they packed up and headed back to UT and you guessed it....we had a full blown tear fest. I don't know about Aggie but my eyes are so bloodshot and swollen, I will be cancelling my social calendar for the rest of the day! The kids were a mess and David got in on the fun too! I know....we're such babies.

I remember though watching my mom go through this (and still do) and thinking how much she must love her brothers and sisters because she hurts so badly when the have to part ways. I am grateful to have that same loving relationship with my family. She is an amazing sister and we had so much fun together!! I miss you Aggs!! Of course I miss you too Bryce!!

K's wedding budget just doubled....Amen!

There she is Kalee the great! Yep she holds down the fort for me and Tiare. She is the best. Kalee is such a sweetheart. If I didn't know any better I'd think that all her great qualities come from her mother!
Oh Baby! Trader Joe's has the best oatmeal raisin cookies. I feel like I have died and gone to oatmeal raisin HEAVEN. Thank you Trader Joes!

Yep! Here you go. The whole bunch of us. You can tell the kids love taking pictures. I think all they are thinking about is playing with there cousins. When we were up in Utah last month our whole family went out for a fun walk into the mountains. I promise they were smiling when we weren't taking pictures. Dang! I am a lucky man look how gorgeous my wife is.

Oh yeah. Look at me! I am the best. Can you do this with your shorts?

I love my Mama'a purse. It has everything. Candy, Gum, and my favorite MAKE-UP! Yes! I scored. Look at me I feel like I just came out of a carnival and didn't even have to pay for one of those ridiculous clowns to paint this on my face.

I don't know where they get there eating habits. They are always fighting over the food. I don't know, but does anyone want some bread.

Yes! I am a Texas Angel. A T-Baller I am. My first official Major leaugue T-Ball season began in the Spring of 2007. I played 4 magnificent games and due to the wonderful weather here in McKinney, Texas the other 5 games were postponed and then eventually cancelled. I just wanted everyone to see your next MVP. Check me out, I look good. I'm styl'in.. So.......Cool!

I Think make-up is over-rated. Look at me it doesn't really enhace my facial features. If you ask me i don't get why women are always complaining about needing to put on there make-up. We'll....... if you really look close I guess i do look a little like Frida Khalo.

Who's got the look? I've got the look. Yes. It is just you me and my Afro. (lil' Mikey)
Hi I'm Bubba. This is my first day of pre-school. This is my best friend. I only wish I knew his name.
(We were going through some picture and Bubba pointed at his new friend and said hey, that is my best friend. We asked what his name was and he looked at us and shrugged his shoulder, and said I don't know. )
I am the happiest saggy diaper afro man who exist. I think these diapers are over rated. I'm all about doing it Adam and Eve style. I wish I could convince my mommy and daddy of this.
(We often have to triple layer his clothes so he doesn't take his diaper off.)
I am so sad. my life is in ruins. I can't beleive this would happen to me.
Well, I guess it wasn't so bad. Maybe they do love me.
Man. I love this family they make me so happy. I don't even remember what happend a couple of seconds ago. This is great. i love life.
Yes these three pictures took place in a matter of about 10 seconds. Jimmy is one of the funniest kids.
We'll here she is our little 3rd grader almost 8 yrs old. What a beauty queen.
Here's mamma(Tiare) kale and Bubba (David) on a trip out to Oklahoma. We went out on a boat for a day and was that an experience with the kids. It was so much fun seeing their faces. Look at Bubba's you can tell it was an experience for him. ha. ha.
Kalee in her first season of fst pitch softball. We didn't know what to expect but she did really good her first season. She played for the Elite Cardinals.
